Experienced Manufacturing Technician (Optical Manufacturing)

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, USA; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Insert lenses into frames and perform edging, beveling, tinting, and mounting.
• Verify lens power, axis, and prism specifications.
• Inspect frames and lenses for cosmetic and optical defects using ANSI standards.
• Operate CNC optical machinery for taping, blocking, generating, coating, and polishing.
• Operate anti-reflective coating machinery, sort lenses, and verify finished-product quality.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient English reading and writing skills are required.
• High precision, accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and perform repetitive hand movements.
• Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods, bend and twist, and occasionally lift up to 10 lb.
