Location: On-site in Rochester, New York, United States; travel up to 15% may be required for prototype harness integration.
Salary: $28.00–$42.00 per hour, with potential annual incentive and/or long-term incentive compensation.

What you will do
- Fabricate initial prototype wire harnesses from engineering drawings and specifications.
- Manage component inventory, including ordering, receiving, and purchase-order verification.
- Create travelers, track harness serial numbers, and document quality-control checks.
- Provide design-for-manufacturing feedback to improve efficiency, repeatability, and cost.
- Manage the Cadonix Arcadia part database, part creation, data quality, and user permissions.
- Organize the assembly area, tools, calibration records, documentation, and process-improvement activities.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering Technology with 0–2 years of experience, including internships, or an Electrical Technician background with 0–5 years of relevant hands-on experience.
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent trade training may qualify for the Electrical Technician pathway.
- Strong understanding of wire routing, crimping, soldering, harness assembly, hand tools, and test or calibration equipment.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and bills of materials.
- Familiarity with Cadonix Arcadia or willingness to learn it, including part database management, user administration, and traveler or serial-number tracking.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, independence, urgency, and comfort with frequent engineering changes in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
