What you will do

• Design tester interface boards for IoT devices, power electronics systems, DC/DC converters, and inverters.
• Bring up and test systems to validate functionality, optimize performance, and evaluate critical characteristics.
• Create test and validation mechanisms for PCB assemblies and complete systems.
• Support the development of custom test cards, apparatus, and bed-of-nails fixtures.
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, reliability, and firmware engineering teams.
• Own the electrical aspects of systems from design through prototyping, validation, and manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 3 years of experience in power electronics design.
• Experience with battery management systems, inverters, and charging systems.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer schematic capture and PCB layout, including work with PCB fabrication and assembly houses.
• Strong laboratory skills using oscilloscopes, impedance analyzers, sources, and loads for power conversion testing.
• Experience working with high voltage, current, power, common-mode noise, and differential-mode noise.
• Knowledge of embedded control, microcontrollers, PLDs, analog circuits, mixed-signal design, noise analysis, and grounding techniques.
