Senior Mortgage Loan Processor (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Location: Remote, associated with the Covington Ops Center in Covington, Louisiana, United States

What you will do

• Review and input borrower, employment, asset, liability, credit, appraisal, title, and survey documentation into the mortgage loan operating system.
• Review residential loan applications for completeness and compliance with established standards.
• Rerun the automated underwriting system and reconcile its results with the loan operating system.
• Identify missing documentation, request updates, resolve discrepancies, and gather all required items before closing.
• Submit complete loan files for underwriting approval and prepare approval, denial, closing, and settlement packages.
• Track loan statuses, closing dates, fees, approvals, cancellations, denials, and withdrawals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four to six years of related experience or training, preferably in mortgage lending or a similar financial field.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are required.
• Basic knowledge of mortgage documents and the ability to review underwriting conditions.
• Ability to work under stress, meet deadlines, interpret documents, and operate related equipment.
• Ability to travel or lift and carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform essential duties, subject to reasonable accommodation.
