Home Equity Processor (Finance)

Location: Johnston, Rhode Island, United States. Monday through Thursday in the Johnston office; Friday hybrid. Working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.

What you will do

• Review home equity loan application documentation for compliance with bank requirements.
• Coordinate with customers, loan officers, branch colleagues, and other financial institutions to obtain required documents.
• Order and review property titles, appraisals, flood certifications, and income documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Make welcome calls on new files and follow the department’s call cadence throughout the process.
• Record customer contacts, outcomes, file status, edits, and clear comments in the appropriate loan systems.
• Communicate professionally about application status, missing information, required documentation, and closing information.

Requirements

• Customer service skills.
• Phone and call center skills.
• Ability to work in the Johnston office Monday through Thursday and use a hybrid schedule on Fridays.
• Availability during 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST working hours.
• Successful completion of a background check, which may include credit, motor vehicle, public record, employment verification, and criminal background checks.
