Mortgage Loan Processor

Location: Kansas City, Missouri; on-site, with remote and hybrid work arrangements also available

Salary: $30,000–$55,000 on-target earnings annually

What you will do

• Process mortgage loan applications end to end, collecting and reviewing required documents.
• Organize loan files and maintain accurate records in mortgage management systems.
• Communicate with clients about application status and resolve questions or concerns.
• Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, processors, closing teams, real estate agents, and title companies.
• Monitor the loan pipeline, track deadlines, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Perform quality assurance checks, support compliance, and resolve issues throughout the application and closing process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of mortgage industry experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with mortgage software and documentation tools.
• Proactive, independent, detail-oriented, accurate, and service-oriented approach.
