Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) III (Cybersecurity)

Location: San Antonio, Texas — onsite workplace. U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance are required; candidates must be able to attain TS/SCI with a CI polygraph.

Salary: $97,968–$127,880 per year, depending on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.

What you will do

• Maintain the operational security posture of information systems in collaboration with the ISSM and ISO.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages and security documentation.
• Coordinate hardware, software, and firmware changes, assess their security impact, and support configuration management.
• Conduct continuous monitoring, periodic compliance reviews, audit-record analysis, and cyber self-inspections.
• Identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities and support the implementation of countermeasures.
• Provide day-to-day security support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP environments, including assessment and authorization efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience, including prior work as a system administrator, network administrator, or ISSO.
• 2+ years of SAP experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area, or an associate degree plus two years of experience, or equivalent experience.
• Meet DoD Directive 8570.01-M certification requirements for IAT Level II or IAM II within six months of hire.
• TS/SCI clearance required to start; ability to attain TS/SCI with CI polygraph required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
