Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Columbia, Maryland, United States; travel less than 5%

Salary: $137,000–$205,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and oversee the classified Information System Security Program.
• Establish security policies, procedures, and technical standards in accordance with NISPOM, DAAG, RMF, and CSA guidance.
• Prepare and maintain System Security Plans, Security Assessment Reports, POA&Ms, continuous monitoring strategies, and eMASS authorization packages.
• Support ATO and reauthorization activities, verify security controls, and manage continuous monitoring, vulnerability reviews, audit logs, patch compliance, and configuration management.
• Coordinate incident investigations and reporting to DCSA and government agencies, while tracking remediation and conducting self-inspections.
• Partner with IT, the FSO, and the Insider Threat Program to manage access, approve configuration changes, coordinate remediation, and deliver cybersecurity awareness training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 10–12 years of experience.
• At least 5 years of team leadership or management experience.
• Experience supporting U.S. Government clients and maintaining secure network environments.
• CAP, CISM, or CISSP certification required.
• U.S. citizenship with active TS/SCI eligibility and the ability to maintain eligibility required.

Nice to have

• Experience establishing and maintaining Secure Internet Protocol Networks.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, WASSP, MBSA, and other compute or testing tools.
• Strong experience with information-system certification and accreditation and writing security plans.
