Director, Scientific Services (AI)

What you will do

• Provide senior scientific and strategic leadership across the Scientific Services business unit.
• Act as a strategic advisor to clients, shape medical communications strategies, and lead planning discussions.
• Lead and develop scientific teams while driving engagement, mentoring, goal setting, and performance management.
• Oversee scientific content, messaging, data interpretation, project risks, creative input, and final materials.
• Promote compliance through audits and adherence to hirify.global, client, and industry standards.
• Support forecasting, resource optimization, proposals, pitches, innovation, and business growth, including AI and omnichannel solutions.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of healthcare agency experience in senior roles.
• Life sciences degree, ideally with a science Master’s, PhD, or MD.
• Experience leading and developing scientific or editorial teams in a medical communications agency.
• Extensive medical writing and scientific leadership experience across multiple projects and therapeutic areas.
• Commercial and financial awareness, including forecasting, resource planning, and business performance.
• Strong leadership, client relationship, communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
