Onsite Release of Information Specialist I (ROIS I) - Rocky Mount, NC

Location: Onsite at a hirify.global client site in Rocky Mount, NC, USA

Salary: $15.25–$17 per hour

hirify.global provides software and operational services for processing medical release-of-information requests.

What you will do

• Process medical release-of-information requests accurately and efficiently.
• Enter and manage request data using hirify.global software applications.
• Organize medical records, forms, and authorizations to complete the release process.
• Support the resolution of HIPAA-related release issues and maintain confidentiality.
• Provide customer service in person, by phone, and by email according to site requirements.
• Attend required training and support effective department operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college is preferred.
• At least 2 years of medical record experience.
• At least 2 years of clerical or office work experience.
• Experience using desktop computers, scanners, Microsoft Office, and general office equipment.
• Ability to work independently and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations for releasing protected health information is preferred.
