Project Manager - Technical

Location: Washington, DC, United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year, contingent on location, skillset, and experience.

What you will do

• Oversee, plan, and coordinate the full life cycle of technical projects for government customers.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, staffing, resources, cost analysis, and contract deliverables.
• Lead teams, manage labor and employee relations, and maintain positive customer and stakeholder relationships.
• Manage and support information technology programs in accordance with approved system and subsystem requirements.
• Guide teams through complex assignments, develop methodologies, solve problems, and contribute to deliverables and performance metrics.
• Coordinate RFP and RFQ responses, including cost estimates, proposals, pricing inputs, and quotation plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of management experience.
• Five to ten years of experience in government contracting preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment, and property.
• Ability to obtain the certifications required by the contract; PMP certification is preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including background and drug testing, if required.
