Bodily Injury & Litigation Supervisor

Location: Remote or hybrid in California

Salary: $95,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee bodily injury and litigated claims, including coverage, liability, reserves, and timely handling.
• Approve settlements within assigned authority and recommend negotiation strategies.
• Review claim files, monitor quality and service standards, and support regulatory compliance.
• Coach, mentor, and develop adjusters through file reviews, team meetings, and one-on-one discussions.
• Support training, onboarding, workload allocation, and performance monitoring.
• Review vendor and legal invoices and authorize payments within designated authority.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Property & Casualty claims experience.
• Significant experience handling bodily injury and litigated claims.
• Strong knowledge of insurance coverage, liability investigation, reserving, and negotiation.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and claims management systems; prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
