Principal, Technical Program Manager

Annual salary: $143,000–$286,000 for Sunnyvale, California. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses and stock.

What you will do

• Define and manage large-scale technical programs with multiple dependencies, goals, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams in delivering end-to-end technology solutions and resolving strategic and execution ambiguities.
• Analyze data from multiple systems to generate insights and actionable performance improvements.
• Communicate program progress, risks, and decisions to executive stakeholders.
• Implement scalable workflows, automation, and continuous-improvement practices across programs.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with a relevant bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years of relevant experience, in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or a related area.
• Experience driving analytics and insights from disparate data sources.
• Extensive experience with program planning, risk management, stakeholder management, and complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to define goals, stage gates, and critical delivery paths for large-scale programs.
• Experience with financial management, budgeting, resource alignment, and data-driven decision-making.
• Technical expertise in system design, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and software lifecycle management.

Nice to have

• Project management certification.
• Master’s degree in business administration or a related specialization.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
