Digital Senior Director — Data & Analytics, Financial Services

Location: Chicago, United States; significant onsite client contact and weekly travel required.

Base salary: $215,000–$275,000 USD annually. Total estimated compensation including annual incentive: $268,000–$371,000 USD.

What you will do

• Define and lead the Financial Services data strategy offering across banking, capital markets, insurance, asset management, and wealth management.
• Architect and deliver modern data platforms supporting AML, KYC, fraud management, risk, and regulatory reporting.
• Lead data architecture on cross-capability engagements and embed data and AI-readiness across Oracle, Workday, GenAI/Automation, and Customer Experience teams.
• Originate and qualify opportunities, manage proposals and pricing, and convert demand into data transformation and MDM engagements.
• Develop platform-partner relationships and drive joint go-to-market and co-sell opportunities.
• Provide thought leadership through industry perspectives, benchmarks, publications, speaking engagements, and events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, data/analytics, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in data and analytics, digital, consulting, or the Financial Services industry.
• Demonstrated P&L ownership and/or revenue origination and growth in a client-facing partner, principal, or practice-lead role.
• Fluency in modern data platforms, data governance, MDM, regulatory data, BCBS 239, data lineage, AI/ML, generative AI, and agentic AI.
• Experience advising C-suite stakeholders and managing executive relationships, including CDO, CAO, CFO, CIO, and CTO roles.
• Willingness to travel weekly and maintain significant onsite client contact.

Nice to have

• Experience with Quantexa, SymphonyAI, OFSAA data layers, Salesforce FSC, or other Financial Services data and decisioning platforms.
• Hyperscaler and vendor alliance experience, including AWS or Microsoft, and co-sell motions.
• Advanced degree.
