Financial Services Technical Lead (Financial Services)

Location: Fully home-based in the United States; must reside in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut. Weekly travel within the territory and occasional attendance at hirify.global sites are required.

Annual salary range: $213,960–$411,430 USD, plus stock bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead hirify.global's technical strategy for the global Financial Services Industry across banking, capital markets, payments, insurance, asset management, and fintech.
• Advise CIOs, chief architects, AI leaders, quantitative engineering teams, and other executive stakeholders at strategic financial institutions.
• Develop workload strategies and architectures for HPC, grid computing, low-latency and high-frequency trading, cloud platforms, Kubernetes/OpenShift, AI/ML, and real-time data processing.
• Translate customer requirements, benchmark results, competitive insights, and architecture challenges into product roadmap and investment recommendations.
• Lead the technical strategy and continued evolution of FinTEC, hirify.global's Financial Technology Executive Council.
• Collaborate with hyperscalers, ISVs, OEMs, system integrators, exchanges, and technology partners to develop solutions, reference architectures, and performance validation programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 10+ years of experience in financial services, enterprise architecture, technical strategy, consulting, field engineering, or technical sales.
• Deep understanding of financial services technology environments and enterprise platforms.
• Strong expertise in HPC/grid computing, AI/ML, cloud architecture, containerized platforms, low-latency computing, virtualization, Kubernetes/OpenShift, hybrid cloud, and workload optimization.
• Experience engaging executive and technical leaders at global financial institutions and influencing product strategy through customer insight.
• Proven ability to create benchmarking methodologies, performance validation frameworks, and workload-specific test criteria. hirify.global immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Exceptional communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Hands-on experience with CPU and platform architecture, silicon validation, and performance tuning.
