VP, Head of Strategy & Business Operations (Games)

Location: Los Angeles, United States

Salary: $250,000–$325,000 annual base salary, excluding bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop the games division’s strategy, priorities, investment frameworks and long-range plans with senior leadership and Paramount Corporate Strategy.
• Build the data and analytics strategy, KPI architecture, dashboards, scorecards and a single source of truth for commercial, audience, product, financial and operational performance.
• Lead strategic and financial modeling for publishing, licensing, development, distribution, platform, partnership and investment transactions.
• Evaluate deal structures, economics, risks, returns and strategic fit through scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Establish market, competitive and industry intelligence covering games, technology, platforms, consumer behavior and emerging business models.
• Own the division’s operating rhythm, including leadership meetings, business reviews, planning cycles, reporting and cross-functional strategic projects.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in corporate strategy, strategic finance, business operations, management consulting, investment banking or corporate development.
• Track record leading complex strategic and financial analyses and presenting recommendations to senior executives.
• Advanced financial modeling experience involving investments, partnerships or complex commercial transactions.
• Experience developing business strategies, long-range plans and executive-level presentations.
• Strong analytical skills, including work with large or complex datasets, plus experience in business intelligence and visualization tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Video game industry experience, particularly in publishing, development, licensing, distribution, platform economics or evolving business models.
• Management consulting, investment banking or similarly rigorous analytical training.
• Familiarity with SQL and modern AI-enabled workflows.
• Experience working with media, entertainment, consumer technology or other IP-driven businesses.
