Director, Strategy & Business Operations (Payments & AI)

Location: Hybrid position in Foster City, California, United States; regular office presence is expected, with travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $178,300–$285,600 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and applicable sales incentives.

What you will do

• Partner with the SVP and Platform Products Leadership Team to develop, refine, communicate, and execute organizational strategy.
• Translate priorities into measurable outcomes, OKRs, investment plans, and clear ownership across initiatives.
• Design and facilitate strategic deep dives that produce options, recommendations, decisions, and follow-up actions.
• Lead strategy reviews, quarterly business reviews, leadership meetings, off-sites, planning processes, and other operating cadences.
• Prepare executive narratives, briefing materials, presentations, and concise updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
• Apply AI-enabled tools and practices to improve analysis, planning, reporting, communication, and productivity.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or the equivalent experience requirements for an Advanced Degree or PhD.
• Experience partnering with senior executives and preparing decision-quality narratives and recommendations.
• Experience leading strategic planning, business reviews, and complex cross-functional initiatives in a global or matrixed organization.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work across Product, Technology, Design, Finance, People, regional teams, and other functions without direct authority.
• Ability to work in an office setting and travel 5–10% of the time.

Nice to have

• 12 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent preferred experience with an Advanced Degree or PhD.
• Experience with digital platforms, payments, product development, or scaled technology environments.
• Practical experience using AI-enabled tools to improve analysis, planning, communication, or team productivity.
