What you will do

• Design, test, and introduce jigs and fixtures for Cytiva Nanomedicine instruments.
• Support systems engineers with root cause analysis and implementation of design changes for internal and field-related instrument issues.
• Investigate and resolve production-line issues with manufacturing.
• Maintain or improve product compliance, performance, and reliability during product changes.
• Help operations identify and validate alternative sources for production parts.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in Mechatronics, Nanotechnology Engineering, Engineering Physics, Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a similar multidisciplinary program.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits and circuit design.
• Experience designing, fabricating, and testing prototype instruments.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software.
• Knowledge of biological laboratory techniques.
