Analyst, Transportation

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; minimum 3 days per week onsite

Salary: CAD 68,000–85,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Manage transportation requests, shipment scheduling, routing, carrier assignments, and urgent deliveries with 3PL partners.
• Validate routes against lane strategies and service expectations, maintain JDE tables, and manage hypercare accounts.
• Monitor service-level performance, including on-time arrival, first-attempt success, appointment confirmation, white-glove handling, and proof-of-delivery accuracy.
• Handle first-level escalations, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective action plans for delivery issues.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, reports, policies, and procedures to support supply chain performance and continuous improvement.
• Build and validate supply chain network models, optimize scenarios, and conduct ad hoc analysis for complex operational questions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of transportation or supply chain analytics experience.
• Intermediate to expert-level Microsoft Excel skills and strong Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with 3PL partners and work independently in a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple teams, time zones, cultures, and languages.
• Ability to work onsite at least 3 days per week in Mississauga, Ontario.

Nice to have

• Lean or Six Sigma training and certification.
• Additional experience in transportation, healthcare services, or specialty pharmacy services.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, ETL tools, Tableau, Power BI, ERP systems, TMS, WMS, or Snowflake.
