Location: Austin (Oakhill, Office), United States. The role includes on-site customer work and travel of up to 50%.

What you will do

  • Provide pre-sales technical leadership for 77GHz radar system architecture, silicon selection, hardware bring-up, and protocol stack integration.
  • Support customer radar-system designs through schematic and PCB reviews, bench bring-up, debugging, tracing, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver on-site and remote proof-of-concept builds using NXP evaluation kits.
  • Lead technical training through webinars, workshops, and internal alignment sessions.
  • Coordinate projects across stakeholders, manage timelines, and document deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
  • 3+ years of experience with RTOS on ARM cores, embedded C development, and IDE tools.
  • Understanding of ADAS applications, including perception, sensor fusion, classification, and path planning.
  • Experience bringing up customer radar hardware and integrating associated software, including MCU and MPU debugging and tracing with Lauterbach or similar tools.
  • Ability to debug QSPI boot from flash, MIPI CSI, Ethernet, DDR, and other interfaces using tools such as oscilloscopes and network analyzers.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills, prior Field Application Engineer or similar customer-facing experience, and the ability to work independently on-site with customers.
