Nurse Supervisor (Substance Abuse Treatment)

Salary: $70,000–$73,000 per year plus bonus structure

What you will do

• Oversee daily nursing and laboratory operations to deliver safe, timely, and high-quality patient care.
• Assess dosing needs and administer methadone according to prescriptions and clinical protocols.
• Collect urine specimens, maintain dosing records, and manage medication and medical supply inventory.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, counselors, and community providers.
• Mentor, train, supervise, and schedule nursing and laboratory staff.
• Lead program reviews and audits while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accrediting standards.

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN/LVN license in Virginia or the state of employment.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• At least one year of experience in substance abuse treatment and administration.
• Advanced knowledge of medication-assisted treatment.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a rotating Saturday shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with potential exposure to infectious diseases and bloodborne pathogens.
