Registered Nurse (RN)

Salary: $40.00–$45.00 per hour

Behavioral Health Group is a provider of opioid addiction treatment services operating a network of Joint Commission-accredited treatment centers.

What you will do

• Administer methadone and other prescribed medications according to individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct health assessments, evaluate readiness for dosing, and provide clinical follow-up.
• Coordinate care with pharmacies, laboratories, physicians, counselors, and community providers.
• Maintain dosing records, clinical documentation, medication inventory, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare courtesy and vacation medication doses to support continuity of care.
• Mentor nursing staff, obtain required certifications, and support outreach and chronic disease management.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license in the state of Maryland required.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment involving prolonged standing, bending, keyboarding, and potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical addiction or substance abuse treatment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Data entry and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and perform under pressure.
• Knowledge of dosing equipment, centrifuges, test strips, and breathalyzers.
