Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician (Cleans/EPI)

Location: Chandler, United States; onsite in the Chandler manufacturing fab

What you will do

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Cleans and EPI semiconductor equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain toolsets including cleaning equipment, epitaxial reactors, leak checkers, exhaust abatement systems, chillers, and associated metrology equipment.
• Diagnose equipment alarms, review operational data, and create action plans.
• Perform consumable changes, complete documentation, and train other personnel when required.
• Coordinate with internal and external groups to meet safety, performance, and reliability requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a high-volume manufacturing environment and sustain equipment with minimal direction.
• Experience applying root-cause problem-solving techniques to complex semiconductor toolsets.
• Understanding of SPC, 5S, and FDC systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours, work in confined spaces, and lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work compressed day shifts and follow all safety protocols when working around hazardous chemicals.

Nice to have

• AA, AS, or AAS degree in electronics or another mechanical discipline.
• Equivalent relevant experience or military training in place of formal education.
