Senior People Scientist, Talent Management

Location: Remote-first, with priority given to candidates located in Canada

Base salary: $100,000–$137,500 CAD per year. Additional compensation may include annual bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve company-wide talent programs, including bi-annual engagement surveys, performance review cycles, and job architecture initiatives.
• Build measurement frameworks for performance quality, manager effectiveness, and employee engagement using psychometric and statistical methods.
• Develop lightweight apps, dashboards, and AI agents with low-code AI-assisted tools to make people data accessible to leaders.
• Partner with People Business Partners, People Analytics, Total Rewards, and senior leaders to turn complex findings into actionable people-strategy recommendations.
• Identify workflow automation opportunities and oversee AI-agent outputs as a human-in-the-loop to improve reliability and reduce manual intervention.
• Manage people-data and research-ethics considerations in talent programs.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in I/O Psychology, Organizational Behaviour, Social Psychology, Human Factors, Behavioural Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent applied experience.
• Fluency in experimental design, psychometrics, survey methodology, and inferential statistics.
• Experience owning program cycles end-to-end, using data to revisit assumptions, and optimizing delivery and participation.
• Ability to use AI and low-code tools to build self-serve dashboards, lightweight apps, and AI agents.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and the ability to explain complex findings to senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
• Experience with data analysis and reproducible workflows; SQL and/or Python knowledge is an asset.
