2027 Winter Co-Ops - Data Analytics - Demonware (Vancouver) (Data Analytics)

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; hybrid schedule with 4 days per week in the office; 7-month in-person co-op starting January 2027

Salary: 60,000 CAD annually. A broader annualized base pay range of 45,202.50–95,655.00 CAD is also listed for British Columbia.

What you will do

• Analyze data from systems covering fraud, disruptive behavior, and prosocial behavior in gaming communities.
• Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports for product decisions and strategy.
• Identify trends and anomalies, validate data quality, and interpret key metrics.
• Present findings and actionable recommendations to the Product team and stakeholders.
• Surface insights to improve player experience, reduce fraud, and encourage positive community behavior.
• Collaborate with Activision data science and machine learning teams and game studios.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary or graduate program.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2029.
• Availability for a 7-month, in-person co-op beginning in January 2027.
• Proficiency in SQL and ability to conduct exploratory data analysis.
• Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Resume and transcript required; an automated coding assessment is part of the interview process.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau, experiments, REST, Spark, or project management tools.
• Basic understanding of machine learning techniques for data analysis and modeling.
• Linux experience, programming-related hobbies, school projects, or open-source contributions.
