Analyst, Data Analytics & Reporting

Location: Toronto-81 Bay, 31st Floor; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site

What you will do

• Develop, document, recalibrate, and monitor Pre-Provision Net Revenue forecasting models for revenue and expense line items.
• Apply statistical, econometric, regression, time series, and machine learning techniques to improve forecast precision and explainability.
• Build, maintain, reconcile, and validate datasets across Finance and business systems.
• Conduct back-testing, benchmarking, variance attribution, impact analysis, and portfolio monitoring covering balances, credit quality, pricing, and customer or product mix.
• Create executive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau, and automate recurring data and reporting processes with Python, SQL, and Power Automate.
• Present forecast drivers, analytical findings, and recommendations to senior stakeholders while maintaining test plans and validation checks.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience applying statistical, econometric, and machine learning techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable business and Finance insights.
• Experience ensuring data integrity, robust controls, model accuracy, and reporting quality.
• Clear communication skills for presenting complex analytical findings through narrative and visual storytelling.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified Canadian location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
