Location: On-site at the Demonware Vancouver office, following a hybrid schedule with 4 days per week in the office. The 7-month in-person co-op starts in January 2027. Relocation assistance may be available depending on eligibility.
Salary: 45,202.50–95,655.00 CAD annually; the standard base pay is also stated as 60,000 CAD annually for interns in British Columbia.

Demonware is an Activision studio that develops online and data services for major video game franchises, including Call of Duty and Crash Bandicoot.
What you will do
- Analyze data related to fraud, disruptive behavior, and prosocial behavior in gaming communities.
- Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports for product decisions and strategy.
- Identify trends and anomalies, validate data, and provide insights into key product metrics.
- Present findings and recommendations to the Product team and other stakeholders.
- Surface opportunities to improve player experience, reduce fraud, and encourage positive community behavior.
- Collaborate with Activision data science and machine learning teams and game studios.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary or graduate program, with expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Available for a 7-month, in-person co-op beginning January 2027.
- Proficiency in SQL and ability to conduct exploratory data analysis.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and work autonomously and asynchronously.
- Resume and transcript required; an automated coding assessment is part of the interview process.
Nice to have
- Experience with Tableau, experiments, REST, Spark, or project management tools.
- Basic understanding of machine learning techniques for data analysis and modeling.
- Linux experience, programming-related hobbies, personal projects, or open-source contributions.
