Program Manager – Health Access & Mobile Clinics

Location: Bryan, Texas; requires up to 30% travel throughout Texas and attendance at in-person events

What you will do

• Coordinate mobile health clinic container projects from concept through launch and transition them into ongoing operations.
• Facilitate partnerships and communication among Texas A&M BUILD, university departments, healthcare providers, agencies, and community organizations.
• Lead outreach and stakeholder engagement activities in rural and underserved communities, including health fairs, conferences, and community events.
• Track project timelines, milestones, deliverables, budgets, expenses, reimbursements, and financial documentation.
• Maintain program records, databases, contact lists, reports, presentations, processes, and operational tracking tools.
• Coordinate clinical rotations, student and volunteer involvement, event logistics, clinic scheduling, and post-launch site support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, communications, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of related experience in program management, outreach, event planning, or administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, collaboration, and deadline-management skills.
• Ability to travel throughout Texas for events and program support, with occasional evening and weekend work.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and standard Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Class C vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Experience or interest in healthcare, public health, or community-based programs.
• Experience with outreach, event coordination, or stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with InDesign, Canva, Advanced Excel, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom.
• Familiarity with Texas A&M University or student-led programs such as BUILD.
