What you will do
- Design and implement foundational platforms and systems used across Scale.
- Build data platforms and lifecycle management capabilities.
- Architect cloud infrastructure and orchestration systems.
- Improve how engineers develop, build, test, and deploy software.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define and deliver features.
- Present technical information and guide teams on development processes and technologies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-time engineering experience after graduation, with a focus on backend systems.
- Extensive software development experience and strong knowledge of distributed systems and public cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Demonstrated independent ownership of successful engineering projects.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and other containerization and deployment technologies.
- Experience with orchestration platforms such as Temporal and AWS Step Functions.
- Experience with MongoDB, Postgres, and CI/CD tooling such as CircleCI.
Nice to have
- Experience with Snowflake, Firebolt, Dagster, or dbt.
- Experience with authentication and authorization systems such as Zanzibar or Authz.
- Experience scaling products at hyper-growth startups.
- Interest in working with AI technologies.
