Senior IT & AI Platform Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid role requiring in-office presence three days a week in San Francisco, California, or Menlo Park, California, United States

Salary: $221,000–$258,000 annual salary, plus eligible bonus, carry, and benefits

What you will do

• Build, deploy, and operate enterprise systems, AI applications, and cloud infrastructure.
• Lead secure implementations of enterprise systems and emerging AI capabilities, from evaluation and testing through staged rollout and ongoing support.
• Build automations, API integrations, and self-service workflows that reduce manual IT work.
• Develop internal applications from prototypes through production, hardening, authentication, integrations, and support.
• Build and operate AWS and GCP infrastructure and support Databricks workspaces, service principals, permissions, and monitoring.
• Partner with Cybersecurity and business units on privileged access, incident response, root-cause analysis, documentation, and technical escalations.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in platform engineering, systems administration, cloud infrastructure, or IT engineering with production responsibility.
• Advanced experience using AI workflows and applying AI to transform IT operations.
• Experience deploying AI applications with enterprise systems and data, including SSO, provisioning, integrations, permissions, administrative controls, and staged rollouts.
• Hands-on AWS and GCP experience covering IAM, networking, hosting, storage, logging, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Experience administering Databricks and modern enterprise infrastructure such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Jamf, and Intune.
• Ability to diagnose complex systems and infrastructure issues, make production changes safely, and balance security, reliability, cost, and user experience.
