District Collection Specialist (Financial Services)

Location: On site in Evansville, Indiana, United States. Regular travel to branches within and outside the assigned district is required.

What you will do

• Manage high-volume collection activity across an assigned district and work toward delinquency goals.
• Contact customers to understand their circumstances and arrange appropriate repayment or settlement solutions.
• Use approved tools to identify solutions that support customers and business objectives.
• Partner with Branch Managers and branch teams to identify performance trends and provide targeted collections support.
• Train and coach branch employees on delinquency management, account resolution, and collection best practices.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and follow company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of experience in collections, consumer lending, financial services, or account resolution.
• Strong customer service, relationship-building, negotiation, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume workloads, prioritize effectively, and work toward performance goals.
• Ability to influence, coach, and build trust with customers and colleagues.
• Willingness and ability to travel to branches within and outside the assigned district.

Nice to have

• Experience coaching, mentoring, or training others.
• Experience supporting multiple branches, locations, or teams.
