Cyber Systems Engineer Project Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Westfields, Virginia, United States; onsite only with no remote or telework allowed. Customer core hours are 09:00–15:00, Monday–Friday.

Salary: $148,515.72–$258,240.01 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate and facilitate engineering forums, stakeholder meetings, design reviews, and engineering boards.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, stakeholders, and customer leads to deliver assigned projects and clarify requirements.
• Represent the customer branch on project budgets, schedules, performance, acquisition roadmaps, and transition plans.
• Assess development contractor performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
• Develop acquisition artifacts, readiness review briefings, RFP and contract-action documentation, and proposal analysis materials.
• Analyze cybersecurity policies and procedures against federal laws and regulations, recommending privacy, risk management, and compliance improvements.

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• BS with 12–15 years of experience, MS with 10–13 years, or PhD with 10 or more years.
• DoD 8570 certification in IAT or IAM.
• Experience with cyber operations, project management, acquisitions, requirements analysis, and cybersecurity processes and tools including Splunk.
• Hands-on knowledge of Excel and database applications, with strong written, oral, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to support Group Level GPOCs and the customer’s core working hours.

Nice to have

• STEM degree or advanced information assurance certification such as CISSP or CASP.
• Experience briefing senior customer personnel and supporting IC or DoD cybersecurity programs.
• Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework process.
• Working knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Ability to prioritize multiple customer requests in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
