Business Process Owner

Location: Remote within the United States; Santa Ana, California

Salary: $85,000–$113,300 annually

What you will do

• Own analysis and optimization of process domains across the title insurance lifecycle, from order opening through post-closing and policy issuance.
• Partner with functional and cross-functional stakeholders to simplify and standardize transactional workflows.
• Translate operational needs into digital-first solutions by defining automation, system enhancements, and integrations with technology and product teams.
• Use production data and root cause analysis to diagnose issues, measure performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and govern SOPs, swim lanes, process narratives, and other standardized documentation.
• Embed regulatory requirements into process design and support rollout and adoption across business units, segments, and geographies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the functional area.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of functional operations, process analysis, workflow design, and process improvement initiatives.
• Experience with title production systems such as Ignite, FAST, SoftPro, ResWare, RamQuest, Qualia, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, communication, and process documentation skills, including the ability to translate complex workflows into actionable insights.
• Proficiency with process mapping and data tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Excel, and data visualization platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience in title insurance and escrow, including the full transaction lifecycle.
• Experience supporting multi-state, regional, or national title and escrow operations.
• Experience driving process automation and workflow optimization in title and escrow environments.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience designing, configuring, or enhancing title production systems.
