What you will do

  • Implement, deploy, and maintain multivariable process control applications, inferential calculations, and optimization solutions.
  • Configure and maintain basic and advanced regulatory control strategies, including control-loop tuning.
  • Support Honeywell TDC-3000 and Experion C300 distributed control systems.
  • Monitor alarm performance, resolve nuisance alarms, and improve alarm effectiveness with Operations.
  • Provide daily process control support, troubleshoot refinery process issues, and coordinate with instrumentation, analyzer, process, and mechanical specialists.
  • Improve safety, reliability, profitability, and operability through process control enhancements while training and mentoring refinery personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 5–7 years of manufacturing process control engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with petroleum refining processes or blending operations.
  • Experience with basic and advanced/multivariable process control and Honeywell TPS or Experion C300 DCS.
  • Effective oral and written communication with diverse work groups and stakeholders.
  • Employment is on local United States payroll; employment visa sponsorship is not available, and candidates with time-limited visa status are not considered.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of refinery manufacturing process control engineering experience.
  • Experience with AspenTech DMC or GDOT.
  • Familiarity with PI, SEEQ, or Excel.
