Senior Manager, Account Management

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa; hybrid environment. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Salary: $88,000–$100,000 annually, plus potential annual bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Manage Account Managers and Account Specialists serving retirement plan sponsors, advisors, and third-party administrators.
• Set service strategies, standards, goals, priorities, and team objectives.
• Resolve escalated client issues, complaints, processing errors, and relationship challenges.
• Approve P&L amounts up to $25,000 and reversals up to $250,000.
• Develop process efficiencies and improvements across workflow and recordkeeping systems.
• Recruit, train, coach, mentor, and evaluate employees, including compensation recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Ten years of retirement industry experience.
• Five years of management experience.
• Leadership, critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills for managing complex relationships and multiple projects.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them to internal and external customers.
• U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
