Pharmacist (Specialty Fulfilment)

Location: Onsite at Acaria Health Pharmacy, 5 Skyline Drive, Suite 240, Hawthorne, New York 10532. Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM Eastern Time, with participation in an on-call schedule.

Pay range: $51.78–$95.81 per hour.

What you will do

• Verify prescription orders for dosage, drug selection, interactions, administration route, and stability.
• Supervise filling, receiving, compounding, dispensing, and inventory activities in a high-volume specialty mail-order pharmacy.
• Provide patient counseling, medication education, clinical monitoring, and interventions.
• Assess treatment response, adherence, drug regimens, and adverse events while documenting communications in patient charts.
• Support quality assessment, performance improvement projects, pharmacy procedures, and turnaround-time improvements.
• Train and supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, and other pharmacy personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy with 3+ years of mail-order, retail, or hospital pharmacy experience, or a PharmD.
• Current New York Pharmacist license required; additional state licenses may be required based on business needs.
• Ability to work onsite during the stated Eastern Time schedule and participate in the on-call schedule.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and shipping coordinators.
• Ability to complete competency assessments, required training, documentation, and regulatory paperwork.

Nice to have

• Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP) credentials.
