Clinical Operations Pharmacist

Location: On-site at the Fremont, Nebraska facility; remote work is not available.

Salary: $52.17–$73.30–$94.43 per hour.

What you will do

• Verify and dispense prescriptions in a mail-order pharmacy supporting approximately 3,000 prescriptions per day.
• Support pharmacy technicians, warehouse workers, and packing specialists.
• Contact patients, providers, and pharmacies about prescriptions and transfer prescriptions between pharmacies.
• Research drug literature and provide clinical recommendations to practitioners.
• Counsel patients on medication usage and answer drug-related questions.
• Clinically review medication requests within the Prior Authorization Program and support clinical department projects.

Requirements

• PharmD and 3+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of subject matter expertise in the relevant area.
• Current Nebraska Board of Pharmacy license in good standing.
• Proficiency with Windows-based programs and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written, verbal, listening, customer service, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

• Full-time, non-exempt employment, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
