Staff Pharmacist (Advanced Pulmonary Conditions)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must reside in Arizona, Florida, Ohio, or Pennsylvania. Training lasts approximately 2–3 months, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time. After training, staff in Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania work either 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Eastern Time; Arizona staff work 1:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Candidates must be open to either applicable shift schedule.

Salary: $54–$91 per hour, depending on experience and geographic location, plus eligibility for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Interpret and validate physicians’ and prescribers’ prescriptions.
• Contact physicians, prescribers, and patients to verify prescription details and obtain new or transfer authorizations.
• Verify controlled substances, prescription data, and order-entry information.
• Counsel patients on medication use and potential drug interactions.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and maintain quality, production, accuracy, and service levels.
• Resolve order issues, support other pharmacists, and train less experienced pharmacists.

Requirements

• Current pharmacist license in good standing in the resident state.
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and verify medication information accurately.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with other departments.
• Strong oral and written communication, customer service, quality, and accuracy skills.
• Ability to manage timelines, meet tight deadlines, adapt to change, and work flexible peak-volume schedules.
• Reliable cable broadband or fiber-optic internet with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds for permanent or occasional work from home.
