Staff Fulfillment Pharmacist (Quality Assurance)

Location: Onsite in Warrendale, Pennsylvania, United States. The role follows a 7-week rotating schedule of four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., including approximately 4–5 one-week on-call rotations per year.

What you will do

• Perform final pharmacist verification of prescriptions and order information before dispensing.
• Support compliance with state and federal regulations, manufacturer standards, and internal quality programs.
• Investigate fulfillment issues with cross-functional teams and implement solutions.
• Provide pharmacist coverage, operational support, and problem-solving resources across the department.
• Assist with onboarding and training related to verification, quality assurance, and pharmacy operations.
• Contribute to positive working relationships and continuous operational improvement.

Requirements

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Effective verbal and written communication and advanced problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties of the role.

Nice to have

• At least one year of pharmacist experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or related setting.
• Experience in specialty, fulfillment, mail-order, central-fill, or quality assurance pharmacy operations.
• Experience with prescription verification in a high-volume pharmacy setting.
• Experience training, mentoring, or supporting pharmacy team development.
• Experience contributing to process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
