Sr. Analyst, Financial Controls & Compliance

Location: Richmond, Virginia, United States; onsite at the hirify.global Home Office 4 days per week

Annual salary: $83,000–$124,500; may include bonus and equity.

hirify.global is a large used-car retailer focused on transparent vehicle purchasing and selling experiences, with more than 250 locations and over 25,000 associates.

What you will do

• Maintain key and non-key SOX controls and flowcharts in Workiva, including periodic reviews with control owners.
• Support scoping, materiality assessments, and risk assessments for internal control over financial reporting.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during SOX control testing.
• Evaluate control deficiencies and financial statement impact, then partner with business teams on remediation plans.
• Assess the SOX impact of business initiatives and process improvements as a subject matter expert.
• Coordinate quarterly Section 302/906 certifications and review annual SOC 1 reports from service providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting.
• Four or more years of general accounting experience required; public accounting experience is preferred.
• Previous experience with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, PCAOB requirements, and the COSO Framework required.
• Ability to build relationships, collaborate across departments, manage multiple projects, solve root causes, and communicate clearly.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• CPA, CIA, or equivalent certification.
• Working knowledge of Information Technology General Controls.
• Experience with process improvement and change management.
