Facilities Manager (Injection Molding)

Location: Baldwin Park, California, United States

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Oversee the maintenance and continuous operation of building systems, utilities, fire and life safety systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical infrastructure, controls, critical environments, and digital security systems.
• Inspect facility infrastructure and utility systems, identify risks and liabilities, and recommend upgrades for capital and operating budgets.
• Coordinate routine and preventive maintenance with production planning to reduce disruptions, failures, downtime, and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain current building drawings, specifications, infrastructure records, and compliance documentation.
• Lead and develop Maintenance Technicians and indirect technical teams while managing external vendors and contractors.
• Drive improvements in uptime, process efficiency, scrap reduction, reliability, capital projects, equipment installations, and process improvements.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in injection molding manufacturing, maintenance, processing, or technical leadership.
• At least 3 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling, resins, automation, and auxiliary equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting molding equipment, maintenance systems, and process issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance methods, work orders, and reporting in an ERP system such as the SAP PM Module.
• Ability to lead and influence maintenance and technical teams across multiple departments, with knowledge of OSHA regulations and Microsoft Suite.
