Mold Tech III (Injection Molding)

What you will do

• Set molds and dies, start up and shut down equipment, and operate molding machinery according to process orders and production drawings.
• Troubleshoot machine and process issues to support productivity, quality, and safety.
• Perform minor maintenance, report equipment issues, and create maintenance work orders.
• Maintain required documentation, supplies, tools, molds, critical surfaces, and workspaces.
• Support lean initiatives and process improvements while enforcing safety practices.
• Train and mentor team members in productivity, quality, safety, and company values.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of experience using molding equipment.
• Master Molder II certification or equivalent.
• Practical knowledge of injection molding machines, mold components, machine HMI screens, and material-loading vacuum systems.
• Ability to identify and use molding-cell safety features, including emergency stops and hot-runner alarms.
• Ability to work on-site in Glens Falls, New York.

Nice to have

• Experience with Arburg, Roboshot, or Sepro robot machines.
• Minitab experience.
• Data analysis with Excel.
• Exposure to SAP and Reliance systems.
