Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Platform Administrator (Dynamics 365)

Location: Hybrid in Minneapolis, MN, with 3–4 days per week in the office and 1–2 days remote

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 annually, plus annual bonus opportunity

What you will do

• Administer the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform across Development, Test/SIT, UAT, and Production environments.
• Manage environment configuration, refreshes, copies, backups, restores, monitoring, performance, batch processing, and recurring jobs.
• Administer users, roles, duties, privileges, access reviews, segregation-of-duties controls, and Microsoft Entra ID coordination.
• Coordinate releases, updates, patches, deployments, One Version planning, and CI/CD activities with technical and functional teams.
• Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for configuration, security, workflow, integration, batch, and performance issues.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integrations involving APIs, Dataverse, Azure services, Fabric/Databricks, and file-based technologies while coordinating Microsoft and partner support.

Requirements

• 5+ years supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Microsoft Dynamics AX environments.
• Strong hands-on administration experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Experience managing D365 environments, security, users, roles, batch jobs, releases, and application lifecycle activities.
• Experience with Power Platform Admin Center, Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS), Azure DevOps or similar release-management tools.
• Understanding of role-based security, D365 integrations, APIs, Dataverse, Azure technologies, change management, and release management.
• Ability to collaborate with functional analysts, developers, integration, infrastructure, security, business, and external partner teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain Management, Power Platform, Azure integration services, Fabric, Databricks, Power BI, or enterprise data platforms.
• Experience supporting multi-company or multi-legal-entity environments and manufacturing organizations.
• Experience with SOX-controlled applications and transitioning implementations into operational support.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
