Workday Integration Consultant (Workday)

Location: 100% remote within the United States; Bothell, WA is also listed.

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain inbound and outbound Workday integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and PECI.
• Connect Workday with payroll, benefits, IT provisioning, finance, analytics, and other enterprise systems.
• Develop XSLT transformations, calculated fields, custom reports, report-as-a-service integrations, and Workday REST/SOAP API solutions.
• Configure integration system users, ISSGs, security settings, business processes, condition rules, and tenant-level integration setup.
• Design error handling, retry, notification, regression-testing, and release-planning processes to ensure reliable production operations.
• Collaborate with HR, payroll, IT, finance, product, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders; document designs and support production incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of Workday integration development experience.
• Deep expertise in EIB, Workday Studio, and Core Connectors, including XSLT and Studio orchestrations.
• Hands-on experience with Workday REST/SOAP APIs, the Workday data model, tenant configuration, and the Workday security model.
• Experience with calculated fields, custom report design, troubleshooting, analytical work, communication, and stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Workday Pro Integrations certification.
• Experience with PICOF, PECI, or Cloud Connect for Payroll.
• Familiarity with Workday Extend and multi-tenant or multi-region deployments.
• Experience integrating Workday with ServiceNow or Salesforce.
