Senior Workday Integrations Developer (Workday)

Location: Hybrid in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with in-office work required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Occasional travel under 10% and work outside normal business hours may be required for special projects or on-call situations.

Salary: $97,000–$110,000 annually, plus potential annual bonus.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and optimize Workday integrations with enterprise and third-party systems.
• Work with payroll providers, benefits vendors, identity management platforms, financial systems, and other connected applications.
• Develop integration reports, calculated fields, transformations, and supporting Workday configurations.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
• Create and execute unit, system, integration, and regression testing for new integrations, enhancements, releases, and vendor changes.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Security, and external vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 5 years of work experience; a master’s degree with 3 years of experience is also acceptable.
• 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting Workday integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, and Workday Web Services.
• Experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, SOAP, REST APIs, and SFTP.
