What you will do

  • Develop and execute the company-wide MRO procurement strategy for manufacturing, warehouse, project, and facility operations.
  • Standardize purchasing processes, approved buying channels, operating procedures, and preferred supplier programs across facilities and warehouses.
  • Implement ERP punch-out catalogs, e-procurement solutions, industrial vending, and point-of-use inventory programs.
  • Analyze demand, spend, and inventory consumption to improve material availability, utilization, service levels, and working-capital control.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, performance reviews, consolidation, cost savings, risk mitigation, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Lead and develop two MRO Buyers/Coordinators while coordinating with manufacturing, warehouse, field service, project execution, and operations leaders.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, MRO, inventory management, operations, or supply chain.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial fabrication, modular construction, or a comparable operating environment.
  • Experience with supplier negotiations, process improvement, inventory planning, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience using ERP systems and analyzing spend or operational data.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, engineering, or a related field preferred; extensive relevant experience may substitute.

Nice to have

  • Experience with punch-out catalogs, procurement technology, industrial vending, or point-of-use inventory programs.
  • Experience in data centers, engineer-to-order, or make-to-order manufacturing environments.
  • Infor LN experience.
  • CPSM, CPM, CSCP, or APICS certification.
