Associate Fianacial Advisor

Location: Vancouver-Granville & 68th, Vancouver, BC, Canada; on-site full-time

What you will do

• Meet with personal and small business clients to understand their priorities and recommend personalized financial solutions.
• Provide financial planning and support for clients’ investment, credit, and retail banking needs.
• Manage a portfolio of mortgage clients and deepen existing client relationships.
• Build business through networking, outbound calls, community events, and client outreach.
• Refer clients to Imperial Service and Business Banking colleagues when appropriate.
• Introduce clients to mobile banking applications and help them use digital banking tools.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience providing financial advice and achieving sales results through advice-based conversations.
• Current accreditation and good standing in a Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada.
• For Ontario roles, current CSC/CIFC accreditation, eligibility for MFDA licensing, and the Designated Financial Services Advisor designation are required.
• Strong client engagement, critical thinking, networking, problem-solving, and digital literacy skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• Flexibility to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.
