What you will do

• Design automation and controls systems, including instrumentation and control panels for industrial plants and manufacturing operations.
• Program PLCs and HMIs, specifically utilizing the Allen Bradley platform.
• Perform on-site systems inspections, commissioning, and start-ups of plant control systems.
• Analyze plant processes to implement improvements based on electronics, engineering, and mechanics knowledge.
• Collaborate with project teams, guide designers, and review technical work for quality assurance.
• Support business development by providing technical scope, budget, and scheduling information for proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 2-10 years of experience in instrumentation design and/or controls within a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC/HMI programming, Wonderware, and Ignition.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Must be able to work on-site in Richardson, TX.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Red Lion, Crimson, and Simatic step7 (Siemens).
• Multi-discipline project leadership experience.
