SPMO Project Manager (Fintech)

Location: Remote-USA; travel as needed, less than 25%

Salary: $95,800–$124,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead highly complex technology and financial services projects from initiation through testing, implementation, and closure.
• Define project scope, charters, work-breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, resources, and change-control plans.
• Manage Agile, Waterfall, and other project delivery methodologies as required.
• Coordinate integrations, testing, support, training, defects, risks, issues, and project documentation.
• Communicate project status, risks, mitigations, and decisions to business leaders and stakeholders.
• Lead projects involving multiple project management staff and identify process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Business Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of related project management experience.
• Experience managing large-scale software or hardware technology projects.
• Experience with project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
• Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Project, Visio, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Experience in systems or financial services, card payments, banking, contact centers, new product development, information technology, or process re-engineering.
