Manufacturing Engineer II (Contract)

Location: Mobile Area, Alabama, United States; 100% onsite

hirify.global manufactures commercial aircraft at its U.S. facility in Mobile, including A320 Family and A220 aircraft.

What you will do

• Identify, assess, document, and follow up on production non-conformities and related notifications.
• Analyze industrial systems and production processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support work improvement proposals, LEAN waste elimination, process validation, and failure analysis.
• Specify, modify, improve, and calibrate jigs, tools, and other production equipment.
• Coordinate with multifunctional and support teams to resolve production issues, blocked work orders, concessions, and rework priorities.
• Apply and cascade environmental, health, and safety requirements and production standards on the shopfloor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of aerospace experience, preferably on an aerospace final assembly line.
• Knowledge of aircraft structure installation, aircraft design and manufacturing rules, and EH&S regulations.
• Knowledge of hirify.global mechanical processes and tools, including Zamiz, TAKSY, DocMaster, ECM, and SAP/R3 PP/PM.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, presentation, briefing, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, make decisions within a predefined scope, build customer relationships, and escalate abnormal situations appropriately.
